BUILDING A STARTUP ECOSYSTEM
We are in the process of creation of Venture Capital Fund through funding institutions and Venture capital investors. The technology and innovation initiatives funds can be effectively managed through a business venture and not by charity organizations. This fact leads to the creation of ventures ecosystem which consists of universities, funding organizations, legal firms, support organizations (like incubators, accelerators, co-working spaces , etc.), research organizations, service provider organizations (like legal, financial services , etc.) and large corporations.
The approach is to develop accelerators for different technological areas and particular sectors, such as health and education or cross-cutting themes such as elder age care, with an emphasis on scaleable innovations.
